Who Is Johnny Fireseed?

Johnny Fireseed is a conceptual band playing original music with songs about sustainability, natural cycles, and the beauty and bounty of nature. Music that asks the question: how can we live in balance between consumer culture and nature within a modern context?

Johnny is the spirit of the movement, the everyday person who can make a difference through his relationship to the environment by participating in the healing of our fragile planet. In conjunction with Fireseed Arts and the Framingham Makers Space, the instruments are hand crafted from discarded scraps, recycled materials and found objects.

These often-whimsical instruments include the amadinda (xylophone),
theremin and cajón (Peruvian box drum),  among other sonic oddities.
